Red Dragon Joins Hands to Support Students in Tra Cu
Red Dragon joined a program to improve school facilities, provide learning equipment, and present gifts to students at Ngai Xuyen B Primary School in Tra Cu Commune, helping bring greater joy and encouragement to the children ahead of the new school year.
On the morning of August 16, 2026, a handover ceremony for newly completed learning and school-life facilities, along with a gift-giving program for students, was held at Ngai Xuyen B Primary School in Tra Cu Commune ahead of the new academic year.
From restrooms, the schoolyard, fencing, classrooms, and a playground to computers, televisions, and gifts for students, a wide range of practical facilities and resources were completed and put into use. Red Dragon joined the program, contributing additional resources to the effort to improve learning conditions and create tangible, positive changes for local students.
Rather than being limited to a one-day gift-giving event, the program directed resources toward the everyday needs of the school so that today’s contributions can continue to benefit students for many school years to come.
1. Handover of New Facilities Ahead of the School Year

1.1. Completing Essential Facilities at the School
The project at Ngai Xuyen B Primary School began in early July 2026 and was completed after more than one month of construction, allowing the facilities to be handed over in time for students to begin the new school year.
The completed works focused directly on improving students’ learning and daily living conditions at school.
As part of the program, 14 restroom facilities were completed, along with additional handwashing stations and water purifiers. The schoolyard was upgraded, while the fencing and a playground for students were also built and completed.
In addition, the classrooms were repainted, creating a brighter and more welcoming environment for teachers and students as they prepared for the new academic year.
A notable aspect of the program was the way the projects were selected. Rather than concentrating resources on a single, largely symbolic facility, support was distributed across multiple areas that students use every day.
More convenient restrooms, cleaner handwashing areas, an improved schoolyard, or a refurbished classroom may seem like simple changes, but each one has a direct impact on students’ daily school experience.
1.2. Creating More Space for Play and School Activities
School is not only a place where classroom lessons take place.
For primary school students, the schoolyard and playground are also important parts of their daily time at school. Improving the schoolyard and adding recreational areas therefore helps create a more complete school environment that supports both learning and physical activity.
With several facilities being upgraded at the same time, the overall appearance and functionality of the school were also improved in a more comprehensive way before students returned for the new academic year.
These changes were immediately visible on the day of the handover, but their greater value lies in the years of use that follow, as these facilities become a familiar part of students’ everyday school experience.
2. Providing Equipment to Directly Support Teaching and Learning

2.1. Computers and Televisions Provided to Schools
Alongside improvements to the school’s physical facilities, the program also provided equipment that can directly support teaching activities.
Ngai Xuyen B Primary School received five computer sets and three televisions.
These are practical educational tools in today’s learning environment, where lessons increasingly combine textbooks with visual materials and digital content.
For teachers, computers and televisions provide additional tools for lesson preparation, displaying visual materials, and presenting information to students in a more engaging and accessible way.
For students, access to technology within the school environment also gives them more opportunities to become familiar with new approaches to learning.
Support for educational equipment was also extended to other schools in the area. The program provided an additional four computer sets to schools in Luc Si Thanh Commune and two televisions to schools in Tap Ngai Commune.
From one school in Tra Cu, the program’s resources were therefore able to reach and benefit even more students.
2.2. Turning Equipment into Opportunities to Access Knowledge
The value of a computer or television goes beyond the device itself.
When used effectively in the classroom, these tools can help teachers present lessons in more engaging ways while also broadening the ways students access information and knowledge.
Particularly in areas where educational equipment remains limited, every additional device can help meet the shared learning needs of multiple classes and generations of students.
For this reason, improving school facilities and providing educational equipment at the same time enables the program not only to enhance the school’s physical environment, but also to strengthen the conditions that directly support teaching and learning.
3. 200 Gifts Bringing More Joy to Students
3.1. Meaningful Gifts Ahead of the New School Year

In addition to the completed facilities and educational equipment, the program also presented 200 gift packages to students.
Each package included practical items and products such as a backpack, a water bottle, milk, and mooncakes.
These gifts are closely connected to the students’ everyday lives. A new backpack can accompany a student to school each day, while a water bottle can be used throughout the academic year. The milk and mooncakes also bring additional joy as the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches.
A gift does not have to be large to carry meaningful value.
What matters most is that the gifts were presented at the right time, as students prepared to return to school after the summer break and begin a new learning journey.
3.2. New Uniforms for Students

The program also provided school uniforms to 100% of the students at Ngai Xuyen B Primary School.
Within a program that includes many different areas of support, school uniforms may appear to be only a small detail. However, for students preparing to begin a new academic year, uniforms are an important and familiar part of everyday school life.
From improvements to the school’s facilities to personal items provided directly to students, the program aimed to support the children in a variety of practical ways.
This approach ensured that the program was not limited to one particular area, but instead created a connection between the learning environment, students’ daily needs, and their preparation for the new school year.
3.3. Turning Resources into Tangible Improvements

The total funding announced for the program’s facilities and gifts was approximately VND 2 billion.
What stands out is not only the amount itself, but also the way these resources were transformed into facilities and items that could be put into immediate use.
They became improved restrooms.
A better schoolyard.
Completed fencing and refurbished classrooms.
A playground for students.
Computers, televisions, and school uniforms.
And gifts placed directly into the hands of students ahead of the new school year.
When each contribution is connected to a specific need, the value of that support becomes clearer and has the potential to continue making an impact for many years to come.
4. Red Dragon Accompanying Practical and Meaningful Values

4.1. Support That Begins with Real Needs
The program in Tra Cu demonstrates the meaningful impact that collective efforts can create when resources are directed toward the real and practical needs of students.
From improved facilities to educational equipment and gifts ahead of the new school year, every component of the program contributed to creating a more supportive and positive learning environment for the children.
These contributions were also recognized by local authorities. At the handover ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Vinh Long Provincial Youth Union presented letters of appreciation, while the People’s Committee of Tra Cu Commune awarded certificates of merit to participating and sponsoring organizations in recognition of their contributions to the program.
As part of this journey, Red Dragon joined organizations and individuals who share the same desire to direct more resources toward education and children.
For Red Dragon, participating in the program goes beyond a single community activity. It is also a way for the brand to contribute to tangible improvements that can be seen, experienced, and used in everyday life.
A more complete schoolyard.
A better-maintained classroom.
A new device supporting classroom lessons.
Or a small gift presented to a student before returning to school.
Each improvement carries its own value. When brought together, however, these changes contribute to creating a better learning environment for students.
4.2. Value That Continues Beyond the Handover Day
The handover marked the completion of the facilities, but it did not mark the end of the program’s value.
After the event, the restrooms will continue to be used every day. The computers and televisions will continue supporting classroom lessons. The schoolyard and playground will become spaces where students exercise, play, and spend time with their friends. The refurbished classrooms will continue welcoming generations of students in the years ahead.
This is what makes such support even more meaningful.
Its value is measured not only on the day the program takes place, but also by the length of time the completed facilities and donated equipment continue to serve students.
For Red Dragon, this is also a way to extend the impact of a community initiative: identifying real needs, joining hands with other organizations to address them, and ensuring that the results continue to create value in everyday life.
4.3. When a Project Carries Value Beyond Its Physical Form
For a brand associated with paints and finishing materials, the concept of a “project” is a familiar one.
However, a project carried out at a school can be understood in a much broader sense.
It is not simply a newly painted surface, a newly built area, or a recently completed facility.
It is also a place where students learn, play, grow, and create memories during the early years of their lives.
A better classroom will continue to welcome many generations of students.
An improved schoolyard will continue to be part of countless break times.
A device donated today may support hundreds of lessons in the future.
For that reason, the value of a community project should not be measured only at the moment of completion, but also by the number of people it can serve and the length of time it continues to bring practical benefits.
That is also the spirit that Red Dragon hopes to continue spreading through future journeys alongside communities.
5. Conclusion: Building a Better Beginning Together
The program at Ngai Xuyen B Primary School concluded with a wide range of facilities completed, additional educational equipment provided, and practical gifts presented to students ahead of the new academic year.
The improvements to classrooms, the schoolyard, the playground, and teaching equipment carry value far beyond the handover day. They will continue to support teachers and students throughout their learning and daily activities at school.
For Red Dragon, supporting this program is part of the brand’s journey toward creating practical and meaningful value for the community. Every contribution, regardless of its scale, can create positive and lasting change when it is directed toward genuine needs.
From Tra Cu, Red Dragon hopes to continue joining hands with organizations, partners, and communities to help create better conditions for students while spreading a spirit of sharing through practical and meaningful initiatives in the future.
