Red Dragon Joins UOB Heartbeat Run 2026
Red Dragon joined UOB Heartbeat Run 2026, taking part in a journey that brought together customers, partners, and the wider community while raising funds to support digital education for more than 4,500 students.
A run may begin with the spirit of sport, but the meaning of every step can extend much further through sharing and positive contributions to the community.
On August 8, 2026, UOB Heartbeat Run 2026 took place at M1 Field, Sala Urban Area, Ho Chi Minh City, bringing together more than 2,000 UOB Vietnam employees and their families, customers, and partners. This marked the ninth edition of the event in Vietnam.
As part of this journey, RED DRAGON was among the customers and partners thanked by UOB Vietnam for accompanying and supporting the programme.
Participation in UOB Heartbeat Run 2026 also created another opportunity for Red Dragon Paint to strengthen connections, alongside its ongoing journey of product development and customer engagement in the market.
1. A Run That Carries Many Values

UOB Heartbeat Run is UOB’s annual charity and fundraising initiative, bringing together employees, customers, and partners through running, volunteering, and fundraising activities for the community.
In 2026, the event featured three race distances: 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km. For every kilometre completed during the run, UOB Vietnam committed to contributing VND 30,000 to the UOB Heartbeat Fund, with a maximum total contribution of VND 300 million.
As a result, every step was about more than reaching the finish line. It became part of a shared journey where the spirit of physical activity was connected with the goal of creating meaningful and practical value for society.
2. Red Dragon’s Journey with UOB

UOB Heartbeat Run 2026 was not only a sporting event but also a platform that brought together customers, businesses, and partners who shared a commitment to creating positive value for the community.
Following the event, UOB Vietnam extended its appreciation to the customers and partners who accompanied the programme, including RED DRAGON. This recognition also marked a meaningful milestone in the brand’s journey to broaden its connections beyond its business and product development activities.
For Red Dragon Paint, joining UOB Heartbeat Run 2026 provided an opportunity to meet customers and partners in a more engaging and approachable setting, where participants could share the spirit of physical activity, connection, and a common purpose.
Beyond simply being present at the event, activities like this can also help create new connections between brands and the wider community. Through every meeting and shared experience, positive values have the opportunity to spread further.
A single step may seem small, but when many people move towards the same goal, the journey can create a much greater impact for the community.
3. More Than VND 950 Million Raised for Digital Education

UOB Heartbeat Run 2026 extended far beyond the race day itself. The event also marked the culmination of a two-month fundraising campaign by UOB Vietnam employees, which included fundraising product sales, a pickleball tournament, a charity music night, and various forms of voluntary contributions.
Combining the funds raised through these activities with UOB Vietnam’s contribution based on the total number of kilometres completed, more than VND 950 million was raised for the UOB Heartbeat Fund.
The entire fund will be used to support more than 4,500 students through digital learning programmes, digital skills development, and online safety education. These initiatives are implemented by Saigon Children’s Charity CIO and Teach For Viet Nam.

4. When Sport Becomes a Meeting Point for the Community

One of the most memorable aspects of UOB Heartbeat Run 2026 was not only the amount of money raised, but also the space it created for employees, families, customers, and partners to connect.
Alongside the different race distances, the programme featured a variety of interactive activities, fundraising booths, and family-friendly experiences, transforming the event into an energetic and welcoming community gathering.
The spirit of giving had already begun well before race day through a two-month fundraising campaign featuring a pickleball tournament, fundraising product sales, a charity music night, and various voluntary contributions. Together, these activities helped build a shared pool of resources dedicated to supporting the community.
UOB Heartbeat Run 2026 also incorporated environmental considerations by using running shirts made from recycled polyester and setting up plastic bottle collection points, helping to promote greater awareness of recycling and responsible resource use.
From sport and fundraising to the accompanying activities, the programme created a meeting point where individuals and businesses could connect, share, and work towards positive values for society.
It was this combination of sport, connection, and giving that made UOB Heartbeat Run 2026 much more than an ordinary running event.
5. Conclusion
UOB Heartbeat Run 2026 concluded with more than 2,000 participants and over VND 950 million raised to support digital education for more than 4,500 students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
As part of this journey, Red Dragon values the opportunity to have accompanied UOB Heartbeat Run 2026 alongside customers and partners in an initiative dedicated to creating positive value for the community.
